Why a new church?

The Christians at Shepherd’s Community Church believe that Colorado Springs needs more biblically sound churches, and for good reason. Projections for our city’s growth show that in less than twenty years we will be larger than the city of Denver. With this amount of growth, our city needs more good churches to reach our growing population for Christ.

Who we are

We are a small group of committed Christians who desire to see the gospel of Jesus Christ spread throughout Colorado Springs and the word of God taught to grow Christ’s church. We know that we are not perfect, but our desire is for all of us to grow in God’s grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are looking for other committed Christians to join us in what God has called us to do for Him in our city.

What we are committed to

We are committed to clear, accurate, and relevant biblical teaching. Our leadership is also committed to shepherding God’s people as Jesus did, so no one falls through the cracks. We also believe that God’s people are to serve one another and have meaningful fellowship in the body of Christ. If you would like to be part of what we are committed to, please join us.

Where we need help

We are small but have a vision to add gifted Christians to our ministries. Our immediate needs are in the areas of children’s and music ministries. We believe the future of Christ’s church is our children, and it is our desire to raise them up to serve Christ and His church. We also believe that a God-honoring music ministry is essential to our worship and the growth of Christ’s church. If you would like more information about helping in these areas, please let us know.

Come join us!

Are you looking for a small church to be committed to? To grow in Jesus Christ and serve with other believers? To be in fellowship with others who have the same desires and goals you have in seeing the gospel and God’s kingdom advanced in Colorado Springs? Do you have a desire to serve in a biblically based children’s ministry, music ministry, or some other ministry? If so, please join us so we can get to know each other to see how you can serve God’s people with us.

We currently meet for Sunday morning prayer and Bible study as we grow to begin our worship services in the near future.

God bless you, and we look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
